Characters at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has several character experiences you may not find in the same form at the other Walt Disney World parks. Many characters wear special adventure outfits, while others appear in locations that fit the theme of the park.
Mickey and Minnie
Why they’re special: Mickey and Minnie wear their Animal Kingdom adventure outfits.
Where to find them: Adventurers Outpost, near the bridge leading toward Asia.
Donald and Daisy
Why they’re special: Donald and Daisy also wear safari-style outfits that are unique to Animal Kingdom.
Where to find them: In the Oasis near Garden Gate Gifts.
Goofy and Pluto
Why they’re special: They appear in their Animal Kingdom adventure outfits.
Where to find them: In the Asia section of the park.
Rafiki and Timon
Why they’re special: These characters may rotate, so you may meet a different one depending on the time of day.
Where to find them: In the Oasis.
Pocahontas
Why she’s special: Her outdoor greeting location fits naturally with the setting of Animal Kingdom.
Where to find her: In the Oasis before the bridge to Discovery Island.
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde
Why they’re special: This is a dedicated Zootopia character experience.
Where to find them: The Gathering Spot near the Tree of Life.
Russell, Dug, and Kevin
Why they’re special: These characters may appear around the park rather than only at a traditional meet-and-greet.
Where to find them: Around Discovery Island and the Discovery Trails near the Tree of Life.
Bluey and Bingo
Why they’re special: This is an interactive experience rather than a traditional posed character greeting.
Where to find them: Conservation Station. Take the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe Station.
