How to Check Restaurant Hours in the My Disney Experience App
If you’re planning a Walt Disney World vacation and haven’t downloaded the My Disney Experience app yet, do it now. It’s one of the most useful tools you’ll have both before and during your trip.
You can use the app to check attraction wait times, view park maps, place mobile food orders, make dining reservations, manage Lightning Lane passes, and much more.
The app is incredibly helpful, but it isn’t always intuitive. One thing that can be surprisingly difficult to find is a restaurant’s operating hours.
You might expect the hours to be easy to locate through the map or dining section, but they can feel a little hidden when you don’t know where to look. Fortunately, once you know the steps, it only takes a few seconds.
Step 1: Tap the Search Icon
Open the My Disney Experience app and tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
The search tool is one of the easiest ways to find restaurants, attractions, resorts, entertainment, and other locations throughout Walt Disney World.
Step 2: Search for the Restaurant
Type the name of the restaurant into the search bar.
As you type, matching results will appear. Tap the restaurant you want to view.
For example, you could search for:
- Casey’s Corner
- Contempo Café
- Columbia Harbour House
- Woody’s Lunch Box
Once the restaurant’s page opens, scroll down until you see its operating hours.
Depending on the restaurant, the app may show separate hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It may also display temporary changes or updated hours for that particular day.
Why This Matters
Restaurant hours do not always match park hours. Some locations open later in the morning, while others close before the park does. Hours may also change because of seasonal schedules, holidays, or special events.
Taking a few seconds to check the app before heading to a restaurant can save you time, prevent disappointment, and help your Disney day run more smoothly.
